Where are they now? Part II

As a continuation from my post the other day, I just want to give you a follow up to some more of the featured Gentlewomen on my blog.  First, let’s congratulate Yadira Hernandez on her recent engagement to Joe Pham.  Joe proposed on their 5 year anniversary  at their  home and shared the moment with Yadira’s daughters.  To make the moment even more special, Joe purchased Thalia and Dulce (Yadira’s daughters) a necklace and ring.  It was his promise to be the best stepfather he could be to them.  Congratulations Yadira!

So, there is another follow up to my dear sister in law, Rita Mireles.  She was baptized on March 5, alongside her husband Sammy Mireles.  Baptism allows a Christ-follower to communicate to the world their heart-felt commitment to Christ.

Also, if you are interested in creating the perfect piece of furniture, you can contact Rita for one of the following:

  •         One on One Painting Sessions (You paint the piece with help from Rita)
  •         Painting Parties (Get a group together and learn painting techniques)
  •         Total Furniture Make Over (Give Rita your most prized possession to paint)
  •         Wishful Thinking (Let Rita know what you’re looking for and she’ll do her best to find it for you)

To check out Rita’s work, head over to her blog CurbsideCreations.

Lastly, Alex Ramirez’s daughter, Brittany Ramirez turned 15 this month and had the most beautiful quinceanera.  I remember the day Alex first told me she was pregnant.  We were both in 9th grade and only 14 years old.  It baffles me that she already has a 15 year and she’s not even 30 yet.  It was such a beautiful party, that brought tears to my eyes during the father/daughter dance.  I give major props to Alex and Daniel for sticking through the hurdles of marriage, not to mention all the grown up life moments that they experienced at such a young age.  To give this moment to your daughter is priceless.  I am very proud of you two.

Also, let me give a shout out to fellow GW, Tania Cuadra for doing Brittany’s make up.  Didn’t she do a fabulous job?  Visit her FB page here for more information.  Book Tania to give you a professional make up look for your next special event.
